Nintendo 3DS XL

I don't venture into here very often so please be gentle!!!

My lad has one of the above which isn't charging and is about 3-4 years old so out of warranty

I've ordered a new charger but if that doesn't work what are my options?

I presume i can send it back to Nintendo for repair?

Are there any other local Leicester based repairers of these?

Thanks

Have you checked Youtube? It may be a simple fix that you can do yourself.

It wouldnt surprise me if Nintendo would charge a fortune to have it repaired.

Nintendo couldn't fix my lad console so they offered me a new one with a years warranty for £130.

As its his birthday tomorrow i took that up and received it yesterday.

Only to find out that you can no longer download games for them off the Nintendo e shop!!!

If anayone has any games they don't want send them to Raj @mardy twat lcfc fan!!!

Raj, if you are looking for 3DS games, might be a good idea to check out Super Game Shack in the Silver Arcade next time you are in the city centre. It's a good little retro games shop, and they had quite a lot of loose 3DS and Nintendo DS games last time I was in - they tend to be all hanging in little plastic bags alongside the other games on display, can be easy to knock them over! Prices were quite good last time I checked, but now might be a good time to pick some up, as the closure of the eShop might start driving up prices if people start to collect 3DS games now they are "rarer".
