Someone said to me last week ‘I wish I had a pound for everytime you have a beer’ and I said ‘well, so do I’ and she said ‘well I thought of it first’ as if a) it was witty b) possible and c)exclusive. 
 

don’t worry love. I’m not making it a 50p each thing. It’s just a think people say. 
 

also I now realise that when I said ‘so do I’ I could have been wishing she got a pound. Not that I got a pound. If there is some genie/ god out there I hope I’ve not wasted by one chance.
