I think it's only a matter of time before Micky see’s the door, the board will only stand for low gate receipts for so long and with the continual poor performances week in and week out who can blame the fans for not going to the matches, I know I ‘m a bit brassed off (oh how I wanted to swear then) with it.

Which brings me to the question of “Is Micky Blind????†how is it that 18,000 or so of us city fans can see that the left side of the field is Sh*t the major culprit being Jordan Stewart why does MA continually play the useless twat (oh dear the swearing has started) at left back or any left sided position, answers on a post card to Micky please C/o LCFC

Next we have the “Long Ball†game BORING!! all well and good if you have a ball winner who can head the thing but Dublin who at 6Ft Plus who I can only guess this tactic was meant for hasn’t got off the ground more than 6 time’s he also looks so uninterested for the rest of the game (just here on your name son?, Just here for a payday at the end of you career?)

So to end or I could go on until Xmas

1 Micky STOP the long ball if it’s to feet the players can hopefully do something with the ball

2 Micky Start the passing game up as with above point

3 Micky Drop Stewart for Tiatto & Drop Dublin for Tommy Wright or Big Trev even

4 Micky Give the team some BITE, PASSION, and WILL TO WIN just like on the O’Neil day’s, no you are not O’Neil and I don’t want you to be, but if you do some if not all of the above you may just save you job (for a bit) but most of all you will make OUR team great again!

Welcome to the forum, Rossboy.

I've said it a few times now, I genuinely believe Micky is losing the plot. Not dropping players who are playing shite generally, and ignoring those who are turning in impressive performances every week for the reserves. It's all about reputations with Micky, not performances. He's far too stubborn to change, so we'll expect to see the likes of Nathan Blake getting their quota of action, when you have someone like Tommy Wright banging them in for the reserves who aint getting a sniff.

Many happy returns! :D Don't get too drunk ;)

I'm still recovering from last night

On the subject of Micky, he's a stubborn bugger, it's getting quite annoying now, even I'm losing patience! :o We need some passion and commitment, as well as a few creative tactics that will allow us to break teams down which we simply can't do at the mo!

You are right on everthing said but I also worry about the long term, it seems that the LCFC way is just to buy/loan players for one season! Normally you would gradually build a team, introducing young prospects, replacing aging or poor performers with better players etc. If you look at our team and by any chance we did get promoted who would be Premership quality??? It would be a whole new team again!

And then a brand new team in the event of relegation.

The reason we went up is because Micky stuck with the team that wasnt his, he didnt bring in his own shite and create a brand new team - which is suprising looking at it now. Then after promotion came the time when he turned it into his team :( 10+ new players and relegation, then another 10+ new players and mid table but playing the worst footbal i have witnessed in 10 years of supporting the club. Its dreadful.

The answer to putting a stop to these problems is in my sig ;)

I personally could live with not getting promoted this season if it meant a better long term future - everything seems to revolve around scraping out of this division by any means possible. That's why we end up with the second rate players who are brought in to "do a job" for the season, our young players with potential don't get a chance because we won't take the risk with them. You are right about the poor quality this season but it won't change while promotion by any means possible is the only plan we have.

A radical idea could be to try entertaing the fans!

You're right, it's radical, far too radical. Micky is stubborn, so we'll expect to see 4-4-2, hoof to the ineffective targetman to feed off. Lovely stuff.

I'd rather see a team being built that will last a few years (with the likes of Tommy Wright, Canero, Heath etc) than one that is a one year fix, even if it means that we stay in this division for a year or two. We will never have a strong foundation of a team with MA's tactics of 10 in, 10 out in the close season. It's not what fans want to see and I'm sure it's not helping the players either. We need a steady team that plays football on the ground, rather than one that is built around a 35 year old striker and the hoof tactic.

I agree with you to some extent regarding the 10 in and 10 out in pre-season but I think this is what you get with promotion to the premier followed by relegation. If we were to go up with our present side we would need to bring in several players to give us a chance of staying up. If we were then relegated I would suspect that we would need to offload players who were on premiership wages. We would also lose players who had impressed sufficiently in the topflight (ala dickov, thatcher, ferdinand). This would result in an unavoidable turnover of players. I don't see a way around this.

Stirring, eh?

How would you know?

Not stirring. I get told bits and pieces from the club.

Hmmmm.....

21491[/snapback]

I'm not stirring I swear. I am a mad keen leicester fan and regularly visit this forum because I like to keep up to date with things that are happening. I'm also a fan of micky's (hence my logon name) so it's not exactly a rumour I'd make up. I don't get to know many things but what I do is pretty much certain.
