I'm hankering to play FM now, not played for a few years.

 

What's the cheapest laptop I can pick up that will play it reasonably well? @IT/laptop bods

If you've got Netflix you can download the FM Mobile game for free which is pretty decent to be fair and usually does me for a month or so when I get the craving. Detailed enough to be enjoyable but stripped back enough that you can nail a season in a couple of hours.

 

If you do want to play on laptop and like to have a decent amount of leagues and players then I'd recommend a laptop with 16gb+ RAM, i7 processor and an SSD hard drive

People with lower specs might give other a shout out, spending £600 just to play FM feels a bit mad though, so take my advice with a pinch of salt

Thanks, mobile never cuts it for me - I get too well immersed into saves so I need the extra detail.

 

I probably do need a laptop anyway so it's not just solely FM.
