Leicester Fosse would be awesome name for any new non league team.

I suppose any new non league team would rather have a name associated with whatever suburb or area of Leicester / Leicestershire they are based.

No.

Non-league clubs that already exist need and deserve the support.

AFC Wimbledon basically killed Kingstonian by renting Kingsmeadow, then buying and leasing it back to Kingstonian when the latter were in financial difficulty followed by selling it to Chelsea in order to buy and rebuild Plough Lane, only for Chelsea to evict Kingstonian who now play in the eighth tier and well out of Kingston.

An FC Leicester Fosse sounds good in theory but would realistically need to groundshare with an already existing local non league club and, if successful, could end up doing similar.

Just support the club that already plays there and enjoy non-league. Or whichever club is local to you. I said on another thread that I'll be probably be going to Boston a bit next season- cracking ground with three sides of terracing (from next season when the fourth side is built,) just gone professional and showing a bit of ambition to get back to the Football League. They'll never play in the Premier League, but so what? The sport is a closed shop now by design and the PL deserves to collapse.

Spend your ST money on football trips abroad and non-league days. You'll enjoy it far more.

I do just this. Next weekend I am in Luxembourg for a friendly against Sweden. Last year I went to B. MonchenGB, Amsterdam arena and have only 8 clubs left in the national league to do. Great fun.

Exactly this.

The lads who go to Bochum from here never seem to have a bad trip, I'm told Polish football is great for atmosphere and very reasonably priced and I'm just looking at the National League trips right now with old FL clubs like Hartlepool, Southend, Rochdale and Yeovil to remind us all of the League One days and then some characterful non-league perennials like Tamworth, Altrincham and Wealdstone.
