Digital tickets help

I've been wondering how/when this will happen.  I assumed that my digital ticket would just update to the new season, like it used to update last season to the next match. Nothing happened yet though.

Coventry City fans are unhappy with the digital season-ticket details the club released yesterday, just before tomorrow’s first home Premier League game against Hull City. All tickets for 2026/27, including season tickets, now arrive by email and must be added to Apple or Google Wallet; supporters have to download them in advance, keep their phone charged and open the wallet at the turnstile.



People have already reported errors adding tickets to Google Wallet this morning. Others are asking how you pass a season ticket on if you cannot attend, because it sits on only one phone and cannot be forwarded from the wallet. There is still no ticket exchange running, so some fear empty seats on a bank-holiday weekend. Fans say the information arrived too late and left too many questions unanswered. The switch is a Premier League rule, but that has not stopped the frustration.

 

Seems we're not the only incompetent club.

I tried to transfer my ticket to my dad for a game last season. Couldn’t do it as if you’re over 65 the club no longer considers you as an adult 🤷🏼.

You cannot auto move a high value ticket to a low value category has to be done through the ticket office.
