Albeano Posted 1 October 2004 Posted 1 October 2004 Northern Ireland international David Healy has rejected Preston's offer of a three-year contract and his current deal expires at the end of the season. Why don't Leicester try and sign him. He's a good player who is quick, strong and can score goals. Why not try maybe a swap deal with Nathan Blake? :?:
Mark Posted 1 October 2004 Posted 1 October 2004 No thanks. Swap deal yes but i'd swap Nathan Blake for anyone. We need to concentrate on bringing our own younger players into the team. We already have too many strikers, even though half of them are so shockingly bad, they will always been in contention for a place
Scow Posted 1 October 2004 Posted 1 October 2004 Good little player, but we simply don't need him. We have enough strikers as it is......
Highland Posted 1 October 2004 Posted 1 October 2004 I think he plays in midfield for Preston but I might be wrong.Good player anyway but we aren't in a position to sign anybody.
Cat Burger Posted 1 October 2004 Posted 1 October 2004 He would go to a better and more organised club than ours!

B)
alex Posted 2 October 2004 Posted 2 October 2004 A quality defender eh? Mmmm.... Believe it when I see it...

City Fan Posted 2 October 2004 Posted 2 October 2004 He's likely to go to Leeds so we could afford him because Leeds are in more of a dire financial situation than we are.....
Anish Posted 2 October 2004 Posted 2 October 2004 I'd take Healy right now. We have seen how rubbish Blake and Dion are already, so that leave us with Trev, Connolly, and Wright. Trev will be offloaded in the summer unless he performs miracles, so Healy would be a decent signing.
Ash Posted 2 October 2004 Posted 2 October 2004 He would be a good signing for us , but i dont want to sign him.As Petrescu said about young players , we do need to bring in are own young players ie Wright,O'Grady....Good thought but IMO no thank you
