davieG Posted 5 October 2004 Posted 5 October 2004 Not results Not high expectations Not even style, although it's awful. A Blake quote in tonights Mercury. Nathan Blake had thought that his first goal for the club, City's second on the night, had secured victory. Blake said: "I thought we had won it. But as soon as they got that penalty award you just got that feeling that no matter what we had done we were not going to get a result. What at 2-2, 11 against 10, 30 minutes to go. That is the most disgraceful uttering I've ever heard from any Leicester City player and shows just how badly the club is being managed

I remeber in the past when it was true to say foxes never quit. Now we are lucky if they turn up for the second half.
Guest Daniel Posted 5 October 2004 Posted 5 October 2004 Blake is a joke, get him out of this club. Oh and take Micky with you.

We should have just given PNE the win by default. This is the mentality that MA has instilled into the sqaud - we give up far too easily and (apart from the PNE game) we NEVER get back into a game when we have conceded the first goal. Absolutely pathetic attitude. The club should seriously get rid of that stupid 'Foxes Never Quit' motto that it above the tunnel when the players come out. The opposition must see that crap and be in stiches with laughter.
Buzzell Posted 5 October 2004 Posted 5 October 2004 Blake is taling bollox. Its about time the board got a grip and started turning things around. Adams Out!!

Foxes never quit is well and truly over.
Scow Posted 5 October 2004 Posted 5 October 2004 The last time we won a game after being a goal down was ironically against Preston at home in the 2002/2003 season. A 2-1 victory with Brian Deane scoring both goals.

But I checked on the Official Site to confirm that though.

Leicester_Mad Posted 6 October 2004 Posted 6 October 2004 said the same thing to my dad last night. What is the point of thinking "we wont win now" with 30minutes to go. Hopefully Adams has read these comments and has condemned him to a life outside this club, but realistically he has just got himself a first team spot at Coventry
