Katy Posted 25 January 2006 Posted 25 January 2006 I did give them a quite ferocious 'V' sign (obviously not for victory  ) several times as we went past the coach on the M6 but they were too high up so they didnt see it

pafcfan10 Posted 25 January 2006 Posted 25 January 2006 I salute the City fans who went down to Plymouth last night, proud isn't the word. You deserve better. Exactly, i know how hard it is to support the team when the manager is crap (Bobby Williamson) and all the Leicester fans who travelled down last night for the second time this season deserve a lot of credit, especially as it was freezing! I think you would have done better to leave Fryatt on, he was the player who most worried me, and i'm not sure but was it Hammond who blocked that last minute bicycle kick or was it one of ours?

Cheers! Its seems we all know what the best thing is to do for Leicester, (even fans of opposition teams) apart from our own beloved manager. What was your lots obsession with handball last night anyway?

What was your lots obsession with handball last night anyway? It may not have looked as obvious from the Barn Park, but your team got away with at least 4/5 handballs last night, especially a blatant one from De Vries, we tried to claim about another 4 which weren't. Norris committed an awful handball in the last few minutes, which half our fans decided to complain about. Our fans just try to influence the ref a lot, and it does suprisingly usually work, what was your view on Chadwick going down in your box when through on goal (second half), in my opinion that was a definate penalty, and the ref looked like he was giving it before he started waving round like a fairy.
Guest Posted 25 January 2006 Posted 25 January 2006 I think we all blanked each other as anyone could barely see through tiredness. The players were on the coach for ages (probably waiting for all us lot to clear off) and were still on when we drove past in the car. I dont think anyone could be arsed to moan to be fair. I think I half heartedly shouted something like "Do you think that was good enough?" to the kit man. I wish I hadn't been tired.

Unfortunately didnt see it very well as it was at the other end of the pitch but I did think the ref was going to blow for a penalty but then as you say, waved around like a fairy - thankfully We had a few peno shouts turned down too (one was blatent) basically I think we all agree that the ref was pants. Fair play to you lot though, you look a well organised side although your winner wasnt a free kick. I think 0-0 would have been a fair result last night.
Louise Posted 25 January 2006 Posted 25 January 2006 At the services on the way back, Tim Davies, Jim McCahill and A N Other board member were there too, looking rather sheepish. Peter Reid would not be in the running though should we be looking for a new manager No certainty that CL would be sacked though Hopefully that still stands. Jon Barber phoning him up and rousing his interest won't have helped though.
