wonderboy Posted 26 January 2006 Posted 26 January 2006 maybe when leicester appoint a caretaker manager we could ask tim to appoint a fan on the staff aswell because fans see most things managers dont unless the manager is a fan ofcourse this would in my opinion seal any cracks in the way we play ie: hoofs, relaxing in the last 20 minutes the fan wouldnt be able to make any team changes or tactical moves but could suggest them to whoever is in charge what do you think ?

Good idea yes, realistically going to happen - No... The reality is a manager wants to do their own thing and please the fans, not to be governed by them.
wonderboy Posted 26 January 2006 Author Posted 26 January 2006 well we should atleast suggest it to tim maybe he will like the idea ?
Jon the Hat Posted 26 January 2006 Posted 26 January 2006 well we should atleast suggest it to tim maybe he will like the idea ? Nice idea, but once you are on the staff you are no longer a fan, you are an employee, with loyalty to the management and are less likely to bite the hand that feeds...

IDEA OR IKEA Posted 26 January 2006 Posted 26 January 2006 well perhaps they can do it on a non payment contract so they have no loyalty to the directors just the fans and players All you would get is a yes person paid or not and no-one would listen, if i was a manager and someone said something to me i would say "How many years have you had managing PROFESSIONAL football, son?"

As we can't get two fans to agree on the team they would put out, they would only be representing themselves. you might just as well use the mascot every week - it would serve the same purpose.
