Even though we didn't win last night I have got to say that I thought last night's game was excellent football. For the first time this season i've been proud to be a Leicester fan. I don't really know where to start without getting over excited, but give credit where credits due we were shit hot last night.

The passing and movement of the team was alot better and there wasn't the cluelessness or reluctance to want the ball, like in previous games. I don't know whether Bassett or Wilko have anything to do with this, but we looked a lot more fluent team. We had more passion, more commitment and we looked a unit. If Bassett and Wilko are responsible for this then fair play to them. They still aren't my choice for management, but they deserve some credit for atleast getting us to believe in ourselves.

There wasn't as much hoofing going on and when there was it was excellent hoofing as it found a Leicester player, we mixed it up well which is perfect for this league. I thought David Connolly was excellent last night, infact he was nothing short of amazing. He was everywhere after he scored and was so unlucky with that shot just before half-time, that would of rounded off a superb performance for him. He has proved what a quality player he is, we just need to utilise his talent.

A big shout out for Jordan Stewart aswell, for the first time in 2 or 3 years Jordan Stewart has shown what he is capable of. There is still room for improvement, but he showed what raw potential he has got. He wanted it more aswell, his defending was class and he got forward well. Him and Tiatto looked a handful down the left, Tiatto is the difference in the team in my opinion. He brings the team together and lifts everybody, even the crowd. I though Nalis was excellent aswell, spreading the ball around well and constantly pressing the opposition when we didn't have the ball.

Gazza Williams had his best game for Leicester last night, I have realised just how good at passing he really is. Every pass he made reached a blue shirt, some of his vision and passing was exquisite. Shame he got injured, let's hope he gets back soon. He is never going to be a ball winner or a grafter, but alongside a player like that and with the ball at his feet he's brilliant.

Keown was a rock again, it still baffles me that Adams tried to shaft him. Whatever Keown did to Adams, a player like Keown is always worth a second chance.

Shame about the late rasper from Heath, good couple of strikes from him though.

Bring on the dirty Stoke.

Agree to an extent. The first half was absolutely brilliant from the boys, we were passing and moving, getting shots in, pressing them back etc. However, after the break it wasn't quite the same. And after we scored we went back to same old Leicester, sit back and defend. I know Ipswich put us under a great deal of pressure, but there wasn't the same hunger and determination, especially from the midfield, to win back the ball and make spaces for one another. We have to learn to keep hold of a lead, and the best way to do this isn't to sit back and defend - it's to carry on attacking and pen them back. As the saying goes, attack is the best form of defence.

However, I would still give the boys a big pat on the back for a much improved performance. As you say, Jordan, Connolly, Williams, and Nalis were all superb.

I think it was extremely hard for us to get a foot on it when they started going gung ho at us. That's where we need to improve, I think we can do that. Williams going off seemed to effect things aswell as nobody could get it in the middle of the park and get it spread to the wings or to Connolly.

Alot better than bum chin Adams used to make us play.

It's encouraging to hear that a few players had blinders last night and for once the performance seemed to have a bit of passion.

However one thing didn't change, we panicked at the back in the closing stages and we lost points because of it....that HAS to stop.

None the less a better performance and it shows things can improve.

To be honest I don't think they panicked, there was some decent defending in the last ten mins it was just a horrendous header.

I have to agree with just about everything you said there. First half Connolly was outstanding. Jordan played his best game for us for a very long time although he still needs to work on his positioning at times.

We played a much more passing game, you can tell that Adams has gone and his silly style of football isn't as visable, although the Micky Adams cock up in the last 2 minutes tradition hasn't gone YET.

We are on te turn and i wasn't to disheartned as we drew but we drew playing well. Heath was unlucky but without his goal at the other end who knows.

I think last night showed promise. Obviously things are not going to turn around instantly, and the players will be used to hoof, hence resorting to it towards then end.

It was an exciting game, sometimes for the wrong reasons, but I am more hopeful than overexcited at present.
