willy37 Posted 24 February 2006 Posted 24 February 2006 not really the time for singing that song in my opinion. how about WE ARE STAYING UP i tihnk we need more chants for players, it must be the best feeling for them if they are trying their best and the crowd are singing their name. how about super super pat super super pat super super pat super pat mcarthy!
adam Posted 24 February 2006 Posted 24 February 2006 Talking of chants, i tell you what winds me up in the kop. All the people who clap too fast during Rob Kellys Blue & White army. The chant only last bout 10 seconds because after that its too fast for anyone to sing!! Sack the happy clappers.
surrifox Posted 24 February 2006 Posted 24 February 2006 One of the best chants had to be "We've got Stan Collymore" to that aria from Bizet's Carmen!! None of the present team's names really scan well enough to do it justice- oh I've just thought of someone to whom it can be applied- "We've got Steve Beaglehole"

adam Posted 24 February 2006 Posted 24 February 2006 We've got Paul Henderson' fits, whether that's something to sing about is an entirely different matter certainly not. Rather us resign collymore.

You Sir are bang on the money The best ever rendition of that by any Club was West Ham in the 1991 FA Cup Semi Final against Forest at Villa Park. 35 minutes in to the game they started and went through half time right up until the final whistle. Half the Holte End and the Main Stand - "Billy Bonds Claret and Blue Army, *clap* *clap* *clap* *clap*". I don't like this word but it is the only word to describe it... awesome!!!
adam Posted 24 February 2006 Posted 24 February 2006 thats how it should be. At Leicester its Rob Kellys Blue and white army clapclapclap*clap*clap clap. Useless.
