The People's Hero Posted 6 March 2006 Posted 6 March 2006 it was on the radio yesterday that £1.00 in every £8.00 spent in the uk is spent at Tescos pretty shocking if you think about it!! It is when you consider that the rest is probably spent in a pub.
Head Honcho Posted 6 March 2006 Posted 6 March 2006 When I lived in Leicester I used to shop at Belco on East park Road, is it still there? Now it's Sainsbury's cracking food, much better then Tesco! Morrison's is about 7 miles away and that's the best place for Fresh Fish.
Chimp Posted 7 March 2006 Posted 7 March 2006 Seriously, I don't understand why so many people still go out to the supermarket to do their main food shopping. Do it online, it's cheaper, less hassle and very reliable. If you've never done it before then just try out the online shopping facilities of your favourite supermarket, all the main one's have a web site. Anything that can save us some stress has got to be a good thing, right?
Cobbo Posted 11 March 2006 Posted 11 March 2006 Sainsburies mainly. The odd trip to ASDA. The good life.
