Bluefoxtim Posted 30 October 2004 Posted 30 October 2004 We really need to start turning draws into wins... 5 draws in a row now!
Scarby Posted 30 October 2004 Posted 30 October 2004 Exactly we have to win!!!!!!!! Lets hope CL can turn this shambles around
emmalcfc Posted 30 October 2004 Posted 30 October 2004 By the sounds of it, we were lucky to get a draw
Anish Posted 30 October 2004 Posted 30 October 2004 Better than losing but we have a better squad than most teams in this division, we should be winning more games.
Scarby Posted 30 October 2004 Posted 30 October 2004 By the sounds of it, we were lucky to get a draw 31625 lucky should be out the question!! we have far better quality in the team compared to cardif that should have been 1-0

Danny Gabbidon was the best defender out there. Jobi McAnuff was the best midfielder out there. David Connolly was the best striker. They have players that can attack and run with the ball, we dont. We're going nowhere as long as we put out teams like today, and continue to bring on the two worst players at the club in Gillespie and Blake

Why not give him a chance? Because players like him are stopping us progressing as a club. Blake, Gillespie, Gemmill, Dublin, Elliott, #### off.

You got home from Cardiff fast didnt you?
Mark Posted 30 October 2004 Posted 30 October 2004 How do you know they wetre the best players? You got home from Cardiff fast didnt you? 31647 "We have a far better team in terms of quality" This is what was said, and i replied. I wasnt saying they were the best players today, they are the best players out their playing whether they were the best or not is another matter. We do not have better quality, we have more well known players, its a shame more than half of them are garbage.

He's lethargic and crap, the sooner he is booted out the better. The likes of Stewart, Tiatto, Scowcroft and Levi Porter are all better wingers than him, at least they try (I assume that Levi would try to be fair )
Brighton Fox Posted 30 October 2004 Posted 30 October 2004 Bit like my saturday team. Played 5 games so far this season and drawn 5. Had our 3rd 2-2 draw today. Good that were not losing but we really got to start winning otherwise well be falling down the table.

In his 1.5 games this season he has looked no worse than Heath, Dabizas and Keown?!

Guest Daniel Posted 30 October 2004 Posted 30 October 2004 I agree, we need to get players like this out of the club and in with the new like he said. Heath and Stearman and all them youngsters are the future, Elliott is the past.
Cobbo Posted 30 October 2004 Posted 30 October 2004 But still, the past was motm today apparently and we could well have lost without him. Get rid of players on ability, or lack of it, not age!
Mark Posted 30 October 2004 Posted 30 October 2004 But still, the past was motm today apparently and we could well have lost without him.Get rid of players on ability, or lack of it, not age! 31757 Ability and age. It is hindering our progress as a team. We need experience but we have a ridiculous amount of experience at the moment. Micky Adams is wrong when he says you can never have enough experience. We have too much.

Scowy is not a good winger, but is a good centre forward he does not offer you width, Porter i cannot make a judgement on. I will rephrase my words and say he is the best right winger at our club, why did Basset get rid of Harper and give gemmil a contract to proove himself to the next manager surely Harper should of been given this chance awell.

Prone to stupid errors. Was once a decent winger when he was at Newcastle, not one anymore. Get rid.

Get rid. 31764 I would rather play Scowy up-front in place of Dublin, Then risk Keith on the right wing. We have no-one else to play there, Why send him back Basset. You PLONKER. (referring to Basset)

Players like Dublin and Blake can fork off and take Gillespie with them. But getting rid of decent players just because they're old just seems a bit odd to me.
