RoyFox Posted 31 October 2004 Posted 31 October 2004 Great atmosphere yesterday - how much better than the walkers? Pressman 9 (this must rate in his top 5 all time performances, saved us big time) Makin 6 (looking a bit slow and distribution wasn't the best, although the midfield bar tiatto wasn't giving him any options) Tiatto 8 (the guys on something, no stop, brilliant attitude although he would have been a 9 if he didin't make a couple of silly mistakes (tried to do a blind backpass with 2 cardiff attackers on him!) Elliott 8 (very solid, classic hardman performance - the bluebirds were scared of him!!) Heath 6.5 (OK, did a 'job' although he needs to clear the ball quicker) Scowcroft 6.5 (hard to judge because he had no real support, kept it simple) Stewart 6.5 (looking OK, good going forward although he needs to put more tackles in, rather than jockey on the back foot) Gemmill 4 (knackered, I can run faster and I'm a fat bastard!) Nalis 4 (old and weary, the poor bugger can't get near anyone to tackle them) Dublin 1 (what are you doing? all the stuff about LCFC being your home town. No commitment the polar opposite of Dickov. Ball watching, not chasing the ball) Connolly 6 (worked hard but he had a shit midfield behind him today and a lazy fooker up front with him, poor bugger) Subs: Blake 3 (please run, just once?) Gillespie 5 (has talent we know that, what's going on his his head? the 4.45 at Newmarket I wonder)? :w00t: Stearman 7 (not much chance to shine, although looked interested so he earns a 7 for caring!!!!!) Levien get rid of Dublin, you can't play both Gemmill and Nalis together as we found out!)
