Just moved into a new flat, but i doesn't have an aerial on the roof, so i am having to use one of those shitty indoor ones, so was wondering if anyone knew how much it would cost to have one put on the roof, i also want to get freeview, and do i neeed a specefic aerial for that?

You can get them from Argos for about £35 for a decent one (you could get a standard one for £20 if you shopped around) Depending on how strong your signal area is, you might also need a signal booster

If you've got a loft, then it would be easier to get yourself up there and fix it yourself.

I was in the shakespears Head the other day and the landlady was trying to get some quotes for areal installation £120-£250 were the figures she was being quoted. That would include the cost of the areal I wouild imagine. :(
