Guest Daniel Posted 1 November 2004 Posted 1 November 2004 In a couple of years when Sir Alex leaves Manchester Utd, MON will be going to them and CL will be off to Celtic. You heard it here first.

Anish Posted 1 November 2004 Posted 1 November 2004 Not that lively please :w00t: 32389 :w00t: Going back to the original point, it depends how well Craig Levein does here first. If he gets us promoted and gets us stabilised in the Premiership, then I can see him going to a big club like Celtic when MON leaves. However, I think we are all getting a bit carried away thinking that Levein will be a runaway success. I don't doubt his quality at Hearts and the attributes he has, but he has to do a bloody good job here if his next step is going to be Celtic PArk
Hoof Fox Posted 1 November 2004 Posted 1 November 2004 Jesus fookin christ CL hasnt even managed his first game for us yet and already people are talking about where he is going to go next. How do we know what is going to happen in 2-3 years time.

Probably the same reason MOn wanted that 'step back' to champions league football.
Jordan Posted 1 November 2004 Posted 1 November 2004 Is this more like MON was going to replace Sir Alex at Man U when he was supposed to retire four years ago or like how Glen Hoddle and Bryan Robson were supposed to eventually repl... err, nevermind
dearyme Posted 1 November 2004 Posted 1 November 2004 CL wants to manage in the Premiership. Celtic do not and will not play there. Listen to the man. He has no ambition to manage either sid eof the 'OF'. He wants to work in England. I doubt he would be welcomed at Celtic Park anyway. Almost hysterical.

Lets enjoy the next 2 1/2 years first.
Ric Flair Posted 2 November 2004 Posted 2 November 2004 Considering Levein wants to manager in the premiership why would he go to piss poor Celtic. I even feel O'Neill wishes he wasn't there anymore, he should of taken the Liverpool job in the summer. Celtic have no money and even we outbid them for Canero last season!! Levein would only go Celtic if he wasn't all he cracked up to be here, which won't be the case.
Guest Posted 2 November 2004 Posted 2 November 2004 Sectarianism which unfortunately still exists within the Old Firm suggest Levein wouldn't go to Celtic.
Anish Posted 2 November 2004 Posted 2 November 2004 Celtic have no money and even we outbid them for Canero last season!! 32492 Yes but what a great signing he's proved to be I'm sure Celtic are kicking themselves for not being able to buy him.
weegie jambo Posted 2 November 2004 Posted 2 November 2004 God you guys !!! CL has'nt taken his 1st game yet and you're allready talking about his departure ! Saint Martin will have departed Paradise long before CL's work is done with you and as someone else said why would he want to leave if you've won the Premiership ! ! wishful thinking maybe but true nethertheless. Celtic tend to go for "Celtic minded" managers so I think you can rule Craig out, he's not one to jump ship just 'cos a big job comes by, give him 3/4 seasons then see where you stand. good luck for the Crewe game.
