This fellow is thought to be Robert Thompson who along with John Venables kidnapped and killed the poor little mite. Although the British media have a strict blackout stories in Ireland suggest it could well be Thompson as he appeared back in 2001 with absolutely no history or details. Something looks familiar

Something looks familiar i don't really care if it is him, i'm just pleased he's going away for a few years. And being a brit he's going to get no favours from the other guests in his prison!

However the report clearly states: Garda sources told the Kilkenny People that Sean Walsh was in no way involved in the killing of toddler Jamie Bulger despite continuing speculation of a link in some parts of the media. There is enough hysteria around at the moment without it being fuelled further by thoughtless comments like those in this thread...

Guest Posted 16 May 2006 Posted 16 May 2006 I have a lot of thoughts on this matter. We had to read part of the judgment from the UKHR concerning those two. They have been granted far too many concessions, as far as I'm concerned.

Despite what the article says, I dont think they are going to admit it was one of the James Bulger murderers even if it was. The key needs throwing away anyway, regardless.
