Collymore Posted 11 November 2004 Posted 11 November 2004 Does anyone know if he's playing on Saturday or is he still injured. He was a quality player, wish we could have him back!
Ric Flair Posted 11 November 2004 Posted 11 November 2004 Playing for their reserves tonight, so I doubt it.
Ash Posted 11 November 2004 Posted 11 November 2004 I feel bad for the lad , since leaving us he's just been injury prone
Anish Posted 11 November 2004 Posted 11 November 2004 Lucky we sold him when we did - what a great £3m sale that was! Still feel a bit sorry for the guy, he didn't want to leave and his career has gone downhill ever since he left.
Hoof Fox Posted 11 November 2004 Posted 11 November 2004 I feel sorry for the lad, he was the one bright thing at the club the season we went down and I for one was really sad to see him leave. It's a shame that he has been so blighted by injury and with someone who relies on pace you have to wonder if he will ever get back to anything like the potential he showed at Leicester.
TrickyTrev Posted 11 November 2004 Posted 11 November 2004 It is interesting, I though whuilst Adams was in charge that it was almost inevitible that we would buy him back at some point when Sunderland had had enbough for his injuries and that he would go on to be a great plkayer for the club. I doubt it very much now though.
Ash Posted 11 November 2004 Posted 11 November 2004 Jordan Stewart & Matt Piper on the wings , would of been class . I had high hopes of these two aswell

Getting nearly 3 million for Akinbyi was a god send!
Stuliasz Posted 12 November 2004 Posted 12 November 2004 Piper was one of the most exciting youngsters I have ever had the pleasure to see play for Leicester. He had the ability to take his man on down the wing and get a good cross in from anywhere under however much pressure and we got so many goals from it, even in 15 games. Would love to see him back at Leicester one day.
