Mort Posted 1 July 2006 Posted 1 July 2006 The things with the Scots is this… Their a pretty pathetic bunch of Barbarians who’ve resented the fact the English brought them civilisation (and the whole idea of a “Scotlandâ€Â) what’s more they live in a poor, isolated, rain sodden, obesity educing, subsidy grapping part of the world and require hands out from the English tax payers in order to get by… so there rather bitter about all of this because while they hate England they need England. I should however say for a significant minority of Scots this isn’t the case… but for most their whole idea of “Scotishness†is defined by their antipathy toward England and the English and their self loathing of the fact that without the English they could never survive. …having said all that I’m glad Murry got through. …and to all the Scots who cheered on Portugal , go independent and Fu*k off! (However I would like to keep Williams and Hughes for the time being).
