macbeth Posted 6 July 2006 Posted 6 July 2006 We used to have an Old English ~ I spent my life clipping poo from her fur before she died and I spent my life wiping poo from the bottoms of my kids. Am I the only person left walking the planet that doesn't have a problem with number 2's? My days of placing poo in a bag and walking around with it to balance on top of an overflowing poo bin have long gone. old english; too big/ too shaggy /too soppy...... but suprisingly good at painting and decorating i'd still plump for a dog with young kids though; and you'd be better with a small breed such as yorkie etc ;(poo size minimal) it may not go with a macho image if you want to promote one though

And anyway, when was the last time a rabbit farted and everyone in the room went 'Christ! What was that!" ... nope, it's going to be small, vegetarian and live outside.

hairy Posted 6 July 2006 Posted 6 July 2006 I hate cats too. Most anti social creatures on the earth. All of my neighbours have them and hence all of my garden is a litter tray and dont anyone tell me to get one to keep the others away. A big F gun will do that too. Sorry about the rant. We got the kids a rabbit just over a year ago. They were interested for about a week then didn't want to know. I have to clean it out now. Shes a lovely rabbit. You have to make sure you handle them regularly else they can turn aggressive. They are easy to keep and answer to their name.

I've been told that going to a zoo and getting some lion poo to spread around your garden will stop cats coming in...but that strikes me that you are just upsizing the cat crap on the lawn. I favour lobbing stones at the little bleeders when they are dumb enough to wander in. If I had a crossbow or an air rifle I'd use that on them too. Your cat owner would say that is being unfair, that I wasn't respecting the pussy's right to roam. I demand my right not to have their cat crap in my bushes and all over my kids fingers...
