Knighton Matt Posted 22 July 2006 Posted 22 July 2006 More than half an hour - Death penalty from now on. I have decided. Just thought I'd warn you. Don't say I'm not fair. Sorry mate I was about 30 mins late to meet you! Hope I just made the cut! Seriously I'm always late and I'm an Aquarius. I think it's because my birthday is so early in the year I have to be late for everything to compensate. If someone says be at a party (and I do mean a group gathering here not a 1 on 1) at 8 that to me says try and get there pre 8.30 as it'll be nicely warmed up by then.
Guest Posted 23 July 2006 Posted 23 July 2006 All the aquarians I know (bar one) are notoriously late.
Rincewind Posted 24 July 2006 Posted 24 July 2006 Theres only one thing to say to those who are late meeting you in a pub. 'Oi! get to the bar., no late shows. no excuse, no nonsense, mines a John Smith's.'
Daggers Posted 24 July 2006 Posted 24 July 2006 All the aquarians I know (bar one) are notoriously late. I like to be 2 hours early, as does my wife...so we are always four hours early. Is this typical of Aries/Aries relationships?
macbeth Posted 25 July 2006 Posted 25 July 2006 All the aquarians I know (bar one) are notoriously late. could you do a comprehensive list of tardiness expectation based on astrological signs; then when i am meeting anyone i'll knew when to expect them do you have any theories as to why star signs affect their punctuality ? is it to do with how many legs can be attributed to each sign ; for instance cancer the crab having 8 legs may make them more likely to be on time than say pisces
Rincewind Posted 25 July 2006 Posted 25 July 2006 According to Sigmund Fraud, being late can be attributed to early childhood, bet-wetting,scorned love by parents, bullying, low self-esteem, the inability to perform the sex act and astrologists telling them that they are going to be late because they are Pisces.
Guest Posted 25 July 2006 Posted 25 July 2006 No, it's all to do with ruling planets, I'm afraid, not the representative creature/object/person. For example, Aries is represented by a ram (boooo) yet you wouldn't think of sheep as being aggressive and prone to temper tantrums. Also Aries do not tend to follow the crowd (this is because we are too busy exploring new and exciting areas, one thing I'm a bugger for; show me an interesting path, and I will take it). In my experience, the best time keepers are Virgos, Aries, Leo's and Capricorns. The worst are Aquarians, Sagittarians, Gemini's and Pisces.

I'm usually early, I can't help it to be fair. We are actually capable of being late, but this will be because we want to, and not because we have been held up in traffic or some such excuse. I have done this to try to prove a point only to find that my mates were so late I was still first to show. Aries/Aries, eh? I wouldn't like to get caught in the middle of one of your rows!!
Daggers Posted 25 July 2006 Posted 25 July 2006 Aries/Aries, eh? I wouldn't like to get caught in the middle of one of your rows!! Fortunately, neither of us believe in astrology so it doesn't matter
Dr The Singh Posted 25 July 2006 Posted 25 July 2006 Fortunately, neither of us believe in astrology so it doesn't matter This Mystic Leesoh were talking about, she's no ordinary astrologer!!!!!!
Guest Posted 25 July 2006 Posted 25 July 2006 Fortunately, neither of us believe in astrology so it doesn't matter I used to think that categorising the many thousands of people on this planet into 12 groups was a bit loopy, so I read up on it. It turns out the stuff you read in the papers isn't worth worrying over. There are too many other factors, and so I did my birth chart, and it was staggeringly accurate. So I did B.Areth's and his was staggeringly accurate. As was my sister's and one of my best friends, and a work colleague. Now, the scientific and rational part of me puts it down to coincidence, and the airy-fairy side thinks it's magic!!
Daggers Posted 25 July 2006 Posted 25 July 2006 Now, the scientific and rational part of me puts it down to coincidence, and the airy-fairy side thinks it's magic!! I'd love to have an airy-fairy side, but my rotund nature means that I have more of a circumference
Rincewind Posted 26 July 2006 Posted 26 July 2006 I think it's all baloney. However I have not studied the subject. I have heard though that some people's moods change during differant moon cycles (not talking about womens' problems here.) If any of reports of this can be linked by scientific means I may not be so skeotical. When the Sun star writer tells it's 5 million readers that Pisces' are going to be late for a meeting, You can bet that there will be at least one Piscean who will be late for a meeting. And one of those people will hold their hands up in surprise and say 'How remarkable' Just tried a Google search for an image of a notice saying somthing like 'Fortune telling meeting cancelled due to unforseen circumstances' Could not find one and lost this post as a result. Had to type it all out again. Now if I had known....... I rember a scene in Keeping Up Appearances. A gypsy was on Honslows doorstep trying to sell him lucky clover. He turns to her and says 'You keep it luv, by the look of you you need it more than me.' Which is to say why are a lot of people that claim to be fortune tellers paupers? Don't they know what's gonna win the 3.30 at Doncaster? I put this in the wrong thread.
