Daz Posted 25 November 2004 Posted 25 November 2004 Where as I applaud Mr Davis for answering the questions put to him I saw this qoute in the mercury. City chief executive Tim Davies, meanwhile, says he has been encouraged by the overall reaction from supporters to the proposed ground-share. Fans of both clubs are split over the Walkers Stadium proposal which was revealed on Tuesday. But Davies, who has gauged the reaction closely, insists there have been more positive views than negative ones from the football fraternity. He said: "I have had a lot of comments for and against the idea, and have heard from others who are in between as well. "But the vast majority of views have been favourable so far and that is encouraging from the club's point of view."
Guest Posted 25 November 2004 Posted 25 November 2004 It depends on who he's been speaking to. He might be hanging around the pro-groundshare community, so most comments would be positive.
Louise Posted 25 November 2004 Posted 25 November 2004 Can't imagine him saying: "Well most fans seem to hate the idea but we don't care about that."

Steven Posted 25 November 2004 Posted 25 November 2004 That's a close percentage. 39881[/snapback] Enough for him to legitimately say "..... the vast majority of views have been favourable so far.... ". <_<
Guest Daniel Posted 25 November 2004 Posted 25 November 2004 Will he say the same thing on Saturday night after the game and we've had our riot?
Jordan Posted 25 November 2004 Posted 25 November 2004 This kinda reminds me of the City vs. Fosse debate when the name change was proposed. I wouldn't be surprised if the majority fans at the next home game or at the open meeting with the fans that Foxes Trust says will happen soon are vocally against the move.

I wanted us to stay as City but this is different. I can't see there being a 'riot' either as not everyone is against this. Most polls show it's only just over half against it and that's only internet users.
