Ikon_Klow Posted 10 August 2006 Posted 10 August 2006 Well, it has been spoken about alot on this forum but after reding about Birmingham's side last night(Three Arsenal Youngsters playing) I wonder why we don't pick up a few. We have a paper thin squad and a season long loan could pay dividends. If it fails then it would not have cost us a lot. Any comments?

I am suprised that we havnt got a loan signing as of yet, but I really do hope we do - maybe a quality loan signing instead of a below-par actual signing.
Ikon_Klow Posted 10 August 2006 Author Posted 10 August 2006 Who would you like to see us loan then ?? I have no idea. Many of the big clubs don't actually expect clubs to pay much for loan. Man U and Arsenal etc usually expect a contribution towards the wage and no fee as they see the loan move beneficial for the player and them. Chelasea must have a few potential targets kicking about in the reserves worth a punt.
Manwell Pablo Posted 10 August 2006 Posted 10 August 2006 Hello..... No Money, you dont get loan singing's for free. "Rob Kelly was given a budget, and he's slightly over that budget" Alan Birchnell. So forget it.

So forget it. yes you can!!! its upto the clubs to decide on who pays the wages etc. and usually u dont have to pay to loan someone
Manwell Pablo Posted 10 August 2006 Posted 10 August 2006 yes you can!!! its upto the clubs to decide on who pays the wages etc. and usually u dont have to pay to loan someone I think you'll find its very rare in football today to get a decent loan player without paying a penny.
Jimmy Posted 10 August 2006 Posted 10 August 2006 I think you'll find its very rare in football today to get a decent loan player without paying a penny. from clubs like man utd and chelsea its not as rare as you think as it gets the player 1st team experience and then the club can see them in competitive football without having to potentially weaken their own team
chili_con_carne Posted 10 August 2006 Posted 10 August 2006 Most big clubs such as Man U, Arsenal and Chelsea wouldn't mind much if we didnt pay there full wages, they have got enough money already not to be bothered paying a players small wages as long as he is gaining first team experience. Anyway if we havnt got any money at all, then how can we give our academy £50,000? LINK
Ikon_Klow Posted 10 August 2006 Author Posted 10 August 2006 I think you'll find its very rare in football today to get a decent loan player without paying a penny. Maybe - but are you sure about that? You can negotiate good deals between the clubs but one the main problems is that bloody agent wants a fee for the loan!!! even though they usually have not done anything.
Manwell Pablo Posted 10 August 2006 Posted 10 August 2006 Wenger is a tight arsed git and wouldnt give anything away for free. United send their most of their players with any talent to one of the many teams they have good relations with in this area such as Anderlect. Even they have to pay the wages. Seriously you don't get Loan singings for free. This isn't championship manager.

I prefer Football Manager although I am now bored with it now.
