Thracian Posted 11 August 2006 Posted 11 August 2006 Some say 19 is too young to release kids into the rigours of the Championship. Southampton paraded Theo Walcott and cashed him in for a fortune. Just a lucky break? Well now they've got left-back Gareth Bale who's just whacked in his second free-kick in successive matches for Southampton and helped haul George Burley's men and boys up to fifth. And he's 17! Wonder what he'll be worth to the bank balance in future. .

Sadly Southampton's have alot better youngsters than ours, well some are anyway.
