Daggers Posted 13 August 2006 Posted 13 August 2006 I've just found this tucked under a pile of usual Sunday papers in the newsagent...and have been impressed with it's league coverage. Has anyone else read it? I like the teams of the week...Hughes makes the winners team while Brum and WBA contribute three players each to the losers! One of the things it highlights for me is that we can be an insular lot, looking in at our own problems, especially certain posters ... but our concerns are shared by many other teams. I know for certain that this morning I am more than happy not to be a Sunderland or an Ipswich fan!

Continuing on the subject of papers, reading The Sun's sport section made me laugh when in the team news for leicester against Ipswich read: "Matt Piper is set to make his last appearance for the foxes before a £2.5 million move to Sunderland while Andy Impey is out with a knee injury"

Did you miss the big advertising campaign at the start of last season? Posters all round the walkers stadium and i think they gave away a load of copies at one game as well.
