lookwhaticando Posted 17 August 2006 Posted 17 August 2006 It'll help stop w*nkers like Robben taking a tumble just to halt play. There's far worse offenders, mostly Arsenal players but I forget all their names. Needless to say, it got out of hand. Shame really, we have to lose small acts of sportsmanship just because a few overpaid w*nkers take a tumble just to stop the game. Everytime a player dives, they should be banned for 5 games. Video evidence will help. These bastards ruin the game for everyone, it's got to stop.
Suffolk_fox Posted 17 August 2006 Posted 17 August 2006 So how would the Di Canio incident be ruled? That, in my opinion was probably the biggest act of sportsmanship I have ever seen! http://www.soccernet.com/england/news/2000...appdicanio.html for those who don't remember it...
SystonFox Posted 17 August 2006 Posted 17 August 2006 what interests me in the article is this "In that instance, the ball had been kicked out by United to allow their player Lee Morris to receive treatment. yeah the same injury prone Lee Morris who spunged our wages for near on 3 years. he was probably on the subs bench and had sneezed or something silly. the sicknote.

You beat me to it. Another example of the misunderstanding the convention can produce is Marc Overmars' goal for Arsenal against Sheffield United in their 1999 FA Cup fifth-round tie.In that instance, the ball had been kicked out by United to allow their player Lee Morris to receive treatment. But instead of returning the ball to the Blades on resumption of play, Arsenal striker Kanu released Overmars to score.

Does anyone know how many minutes he has played in his career?
lookwhaticando Posted 17 August 2006 Posted 17 August 2006 Does anyone know how many minutes he has played in his career? He once played a full 90 for Leicester... but behind closed doors... so we can't confirm it, we just gotta believe the club... Other than that, the official tally stands at 1 hour, 28 minutes and 3 seconds.
