Nationwider Posted 20 August 2006 Posted 20 August 2006 Vodka's a waste of time for me. Nowt to enjoy, plenty to regret. I know plenty that swear by it though, particularly with Red Bull or tonic. If I'm gonna get mortal, I generally go down the ale route, via Gin And Tonic Boulevard. I just like gin more than vodka, I guess. Tastes nicer.

Nationwider Posted 21 August 2006 Posted 21 August 2006 I understood that Gin was renowned for causing depression I did not know that, dG. I quite like a GnT in the summer after work, or if the beer's lying a bit heavy and a change is needed.

holly Posted 21 August 2006 Author Posted 21 August 2006 Vodka is pure festival juice - I just having a few days off And then it'll be vodka o'clock at Leeds Festy have a good time at v festival then??
davieG Posted 21 August 2006 Posted 21 August 2006 I did not know that, dG. I quite like a GnT in the summer after work, or if the beer's lying a bit heavy and a change is needed. A favourite tipple is good, a change is good and I doubt a couple of G&T's would be sufficient to dampen the overall enjoyment you sound like your getting.
Knighton Matt Posted 21 August 2006 Posted 21 August 2006 My mate drank a whole bottle of Tesco value whiskey at V this weekend after numerous beers. Needless to say he had a permanent drunken grin on his face! Seriously though that is filth

Needless to say he had a permanent drunken grin on his face! Seriously though that is filth My mate went through a bottle of Tesco whisky during the infamous BASEketball drinking game. A bottle of whisky in 103 minutes is pretty good going I though. I stuck to the beer, that was a gassy gassy error
Head Honcho Posted 21 August 2006 Posted 21 August 2006 I did not know that, dG. I quite like a GnT in the summer after work, or if the beer's lying a bit heavy and a change is needed. Schweppes Russian and Gin is the dogs doodahs, trouble is I went to buy some today and Tesco don't sell it anymore, so just the plain G&T now With loads of ice!
