lcfc_jme Posted 21 August 2006 Posted 21 August 2006 I may well put a tenner on Accrington to gain promotion and reach the league cup final.. Forest for relegation??
Manwell Pablo Posted 21 August 2006 Posted 21 August 2006 OMG just seen the team they put it out its no wonder they lost
lcfc_jme Posted 21 August 2006 Posted 21 August 2006 OMG just seen the team they put it out its no wonder they lost They still got beat by Stanley. It'll take an awful long time to live that one down no matter what team they put out
Manwell Pablo Posted 21 August 2006 Posted 21 August 2006 They still got beat by Stanley. It'll take an awful long time to live that one down no matter what team they put out I don't think so..... they will just laugh it off and say they put a shit side out. Followed by the fact that they are concentrating on the league ( blatently true ) and that they are currently second taking 12 points from 12. They also took a sell out 700 fans to a away game against Accrington Stanley in the league cup 1st round on monday night and the game was televised, much as I hate to say that is testiment to their level of suppourt.

Whoah! That couldn't be any more true I suppose. But then again, a team in Forests' position is bound to react like that to a defeat like they just had. Don't think we'd manage to take a sell out crowd to a team that sh*te on TV on a monday evening. Still, it's pretty funny
lcfc_jme Posted 21 August 2006 Posted 21 August 2006 The ad is available .. That's quality that is... Anyone think it should be changed to Forest for a short time though???

Doncaster Rovers beat Arsenal didnt they last year I'm not sure they beat them. I think they took them pretty close to the limit, but lost out on penalties or in E.T
chili_con_carne Posted 21 August 2006 Posted 21 August 2006 I'm not sure they beat them. I think they took them pretty close to the limit, but lost out on penalties or in E.T Oh yeah thats the one, I think it was a League 1 or 2 side that beat Man City in the cup last year and i remember Darlington beating Spurs. Its the small pitch that the prem players arnt used to

Its the small pitch that the prem players arnt used to I think it was Grimsby that beat Spurs.. As for the pitches, I think the Prem players can't deal with them being smaller and having more of a bobble in them, even though they are supposed to be of superior class and ability

Alexikokopops Posted 21 August 2006 Posted 21 August 2006 Noted mate, saw my mistake as soon as you posted it. Thanks for pointing it out to me in such a blunt way Don't do things by halves over here. Works a treat. Only reason I knew straight away was because one of my best mates is a Spurs fan, I got some mileage out of that one. Also randomly remember seeing the goal when I was passing the bar at the Jug & Jester in Leamington Spa on the way out to the beer garden.
