Ultra Posted 22 August 2006 Posted 22 August 2006 They also took a sell out 700 fans to a away game against Accrington Stanley in the league cup 1st round on monday night and the game was televised, much as I hate to say that is testiment to their level of suppourt. It's novelty value - a new ground to visit. No reason to suggest we wouldn't have taken as many if our number had come up in the draw.

I don't think we'd have taken a sell out to Accrington Stanley on a Monday night when the game is live on Sky. Somehow, with the way the team started the season and the dreadful home crowds, I do not think it would have happened
