Jay Posted 22 March 2009 Posted 22 March 2009 Siamese Dream Siamese Dream is an brilliant album littered with amazing songs saw them at rock city touring the album with The Verve as support a totally amazing night. Has to be up their with some of the great albums twisting from beautiful harmonies to shear intensity littered with brilliant songs a far more complete album than Mellon Collie which although has some great songs goes on a bit at times. But come on Billy give it up just record as Billy Corgan those that care will still buy your records the Pumpkins have been dead a long while

Hope it's nothing to do with Jimmy back on the H.
Jay Posted 22 March 2009 Posted 22 March 2009 Siamese Dream is amazing, but you can sod off RE: MCIS. Hope it's nothing to do with Jimmy back on the H. it probably has as much to do with Billy Corgan being a total dick to work with you could imagine being a right tool with a massive ego and almost impossible to work with. Stand by my comments though....
BoneDog Posted 22 March 2009 Posted 22 March 2009 Siamese Dream is amazing, but you can sod off RE: MCIS. Hope it's nothing to do with Jimmy back on the H. It's a hard one to give up. Most of the best have that habit, in music, films and all other entertainment. Most of em keep it secret though
Edmund Posted 22 March 2009 Posted 22 March 2009 Any fans? I bought Mellon Collie on Saturday. Quality album
Libertine Posted 22 March 2009 Author Posted 22 March 2009 Quality album Heh, two and a half years later it's one of my favourite ever records.
Edmund Posted 22 March 2009 Posted 22 March 2009 For me it's 1979 and Tonight, Tonight the two stand out tunes. Good album all round though.
Guest Posted 22 March 2009 Posted 22 March 2009 It's all about the Zero EP i love all their albums but this is a fantastic piece of work Plus it has Tribute to Johnny on which is awesome

Guest Posted 22 March 2009 Posted 22 March 2009 Remember when they did the batman soundtrack. Yeah, quality tune. Was that around the time when Matt Cameron (ex Soundgarden) was drumming for them for a while?
Edmund Posted 22 March 2009 Posted 22 March 2009 Yeah, quality tune. Was that around the time when Matt Cameron (ex Soundgarden) was drumming for them for a while? Im not entirely sure tbh.
Libertine Posted 22 March 2009 Author Posted 22 March 2009 Yeah, quality tune. Was that around the time when Matt Cameron (ex Soundgarden) was drumming for them for a while? Was Matt Walker who played on the Batman songs. Cameron did songs for Adore that didn't end up on the album, bar For Martha. So yes, around that time when Jimmy was fired.
Guest Posted 22 March 2009 Posted 22 March 2009 Was Matt Walker. Ah yes, ex Filter. But Cameron did do some stuff for them at some point, I'm sure. May have been after that EDIT: Just saw that you edited your post to say all that anyway Lib
Alexikokopops Posted 23 March 2009 Posted 23 March 2009 I'm going to listen to them on the walk home after reading this. They make me regress to secondary school days.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 11 May 2009 Posted 11 May 2009 Any fans? I bought Siamese Dream and Mellon Collie on Saturday. I've listened to all of Siamese Dream which is awesome. And I'm about halfway through the first disc of Mellon Collie which is just amazing. :pinch: Give me a hammer, and I will smash these pumkins.
