I've been watching it, and its really great, but yeah a bit dissappointing that it wasn't filmed in Leicester. There has been a few glimpses of a map of Leicester though :thumbup:

i don't watch it, but if it alledgedy 'set' in leicester i might give it a whirl. is mustace is awesome though!!

Yeh that's what first made me realise that it was set in Leicester.

It's not the first time this has happened though! If I remember Adrian Mole was filmed in Surrey :rolleyes:

i remember a lot of the original series was filmed in leicester, around braunstone and city centre

Did anyone hear that policewoman's silly pronunciation of stoughton? at least i think it was stoughton!

we always used to call houghton and stoughton " huffton and stuffton"

don't know whether thats what she said

they should've known leicestershire yokles have their own special way of saying place names (grew-beh/grow-beh etc). i was roundly mocked for calling coston; coss-ton i should've known is was said; coh-sun :rolleyes: the producers would have been wiser sticking with east goscote! :ph34r:

Yeh noticed that, but to be honest it's been that long since I've lived in Leicester I started questioning whether she said it right or not!

You'd think they'd have found an easier place to pronounce like Saxelbye, Wartnaby or Carlton Curlieu :whistle:

I think they also cut in some shots of Belfast City Airport quite nicely.

Of course, it is now George Best Airport, but only for the last couple of months. Must have just taken a few pics of the new signs and put them in...

Is it worth watching? It's on the freeview on NTL and I have tonight and tomorrow off. how long is an episode? So I can set my schedule.

Yeh it's very good.

It was on over 3 days for an hour a time.
