Hullfox Posted 3 December 2004 Posted 3 December 2004 Lisa, hope that you didn't think I was having a pop at you. You have been consistent throughout and I always like reading your viewpoint (even when you're wrong!) It's when people say things like "they can use batons and tear gas if they like i'll fight for what I believe in" then forget all about it I get pissed off. And Davie, "I don’t see myself as apathetic more as realistic and pragmatic." is apathy in fancy dress i'm afraid.

Feeling or showing little or no emotion; unresponsive. Realistic Tending to or expressing an awareness of things as they really are: But in practical terms maybe your right
Scow Posted 3 December 2004 Posted 3 December 2004 Just to pick up on the committment issue, I would have attended on Thursday night, but was working unfortunately. It was impossible for me to take time off, I was quite gutted I couldn't make it actually. So some people have comittments like myself, which couldn't be put off....

But in practical terms maybe your right, but I guess as an oldie I've bashed my head too many times against to many brick walls, so maybe I'm just tired of lost causes and failure, bit like British politics, but then that's another ball game so I don't think we should go there.
Foxes_Trust Posted 3 December 2004 Posted 3 December 2004 [it's the choice between owning the stadium in a maximum of twenty years, or owning half of it in ten. 42950 That's incorrect. If we consistently stayed in the Premiership for a decade, then we could have owned the stadium ourselves in 10 years. However if we mainly stay in Div 1 we may never own it as the interest outstripped the re-payement at that level. Under the existing agreement that could potentially run on for 50 years & then who knows. On the earlier point, Tim had previously stated as he did last night, we don't need the ground sharing to survive, with it in place however more money will be released for the playing side.
Nathan_Ellington_WAFC Posted 3 December 2004 Posted 3 December 2004 you're sharing a ground that isnt even yours get over it
shen Posted 4 December 2004 Posted 4 December 2004 you're sharing a ground that isnt even yours get over it 43008 Do you EVER make any constructive posts? Or are you just one of those pathetic sick people that just craves attention, even if it's negative? You must be an outcast of some sort to keep on posting stupid comments on a LCFC message board, where everyone has grown tired of you. You really have NO life do you? <_<

What's an extra mill these days, you just end up giving slightly less mediocre players more money as we are doing now.

There would have been plenty of those who chose not to.

As we yo-yo between the top two divisions, this was the most likely outcome. When was the last time we spent 10 consecutive years in the top flight? I am being realistic here, rather than optimistic.
