Whilst reading Macbeth as a class for GCSE English Literature our teacher would often pick out members of the class to read out the parts aloud. Acting out the story if you will. Anyway one goon in our class upon reading the classic "He has killed me, mother" line neglected to note the comma: What are these faces? Mur. Where is your husband? 84 L. Macd. I hope in no place so unsanctified Where such as thou mayst find him. Mur. He’s a traitor. Son. Thou liest, thou shag-hair’d villain. 88 Mur. What! you egg. Young fry of treachery! [stabbing him.
