Scow Posted 4 December 2004 Posted 4 December 2004 Taylor 8 - Very commanding, came for crosses well and made a couple of excellent saves. Makin 6 - Better than against Plymouth, supported Gillespie well down the right flank. Got caught out a few times defensively though. Dublin 9* - An absolute rock at the back. Won everything in the air, so commanding at the back. I've slated him on a number of occasions this season, but he was excellent today. Made an excellent captain with his constant talking and encouragement of fellow teammates. Dabizas 7 - A solid game, but is still too unpredictable. He'll do something good, then let himself down. Dealt with Deane well. Stewart 7 - Another solid game for Jordan. Got forward when he could, put in a few good crosses. Defended well again. Gillespie 8 - Probably his best game so far. Put some good crosses in from the right, even managed to beat players. Worked extremely hard and contributed defensively too. Nalis 7 - Well taken goal, and generally a decent performance. Looked a bit off the pace in the first half, midfield was a bit overrun at times as Gemmill was far too slow in keeping up with the play. Got more of a grip in the second half, and started to pass the ball like we know he can. Gemmill 5 - A nothing performance. Gave the ball away cheaply on occasions and looked so far behind the play. We need Dawson. Gudjonsson 6 - Took up a left sided position, and was fairly average as you might expect. Battled well down there and helped Stewart out defensively. Connolly 6 - Approach play was good again, but didn't really have much influence overall. He tracked back really well, but that’s a problem within itself - He didn't give Scowcroft enough support at times. Scowcroft 7 - Again showed some nice touches. Held it up well and brought others in to the game. Decent in the air and generally a nuisance for the Leeds defence. Work rate was spot on. Subs: Morris 5 - Didn't have much time to make an impact. Blake 5 - A bit lazy, but did hold the ball up ok on a few occasions. Williams 5 - Came on for the last two minutes, same as Morris.
Scow Posted 4 December 2004 Posted 4 December 2004 Subs:Morris 6 Blake 6 Williams 7 43236 43249 Williams didn't even touch the ball in his 2 minute appearance.
davieG Posted 4 December 2004 Posted 4 December 2004 Subs:Morris 6 Blake 6 Williams 7 43236 43249 That's 3.5 points per minute, tell True Blue about him so he can make a new signature for MM, must be the best player in the world . Football it's all about opinions and your's is as valid as anyones MM
