Subs: Butcher, O’Grady, Wright, Dawson. Micky didnt enjoy Tommys last goal then I cant be doing with Benjamin ahead of him any longer.

Mark Posted 24 July 2004 Author Share Posted 24 July 2004 Stearman looked a class act when he came on - Benjamin didn't I think its great Micky is giving this amount of chances to Stearman, at 16 still. If only he could sort out a few other things along with that
Gala Foxes Posted 24 July 2004 Share Posted 24 July 2004 Stearman brought the ball down twice in a crowded box and then dribbled his way out of it - pretty cool, bit dangerous though

Ash Posted 25 July 2004 Share Posted 25 July 2004 I wonder whos going to get the Captains arm band , MA has gave it alot of players of the last few friendlies , IMO Dublin will get it . When Stearman cam on against Barnsley it may not of been for long but he impressed me and by the sounds of it he had another great game v St Johnstone

Neil_LCFC Posted 25 July 2004 Share Posted 25 July 2004 I don't think Elliott has a chance of being captain even when he's fit. You have the right candidates in Dublin & Keown my initial thoughts were Keown but I'm not so sure now.Either of those two will be better leaders than Elliott tho. Elliott is a great leader, always has been for Leicester. I think he'll still be club captain next season and when he plays will still captain the side. Elliott will be lucky to get a game let alone be captain when he's fit. Micky obviously doesn't think that highly of him either or he wouldn't have loaned him out to Ipswich & played Dabizas & Heath at the end of last season. Elliott was a good player for us but looks on his way out as soon as his contracts up.
