Mark got through , this will be to a regional heat , expenses paid (as were tonight with drinks and food at a nice Italian restaurant ) He no doubt will be subject to some form of pampering by the company, Hotel and all that goes with it on expenses as they compete for a place in the finals , ( these may be held somewhere in the USA ) so the stakes are high . But good luck to Mark in his progress . I will keep you informed. Does your firm do anything like this for the staff to get involved with ?

That would be TOP kind of company type benefits if only it was Orlando and not Orlanda ..........., It was a good night out , and much 'bonding' was had...........( I myself me, was happy to have a free meal, loads of free booze and I dont have to be up in the morning for work cos I am on Hols till Monday) Mark did well , butwhos has to go work in the morning EH ??????

Matt Posted 21 September 2006 Posted 21 September 2006 The only bonding night out that i've had provided by my company is going to the Dogs (Hall Green) was a good night out but its the only thing our company has done. We got some money given to us to go out at christmas but had to organise it ourselves + the money paid for about 1 drink each Comments keep being made about arranging something like going Karting/Paintballing but nothing ever happens. My boss is a Derby fan so he says we'll arrange a day/night out at Derby when Leicester play them (Because most people at work are Leicester fans) he says he'll try and get a box through one of the suppliers....I'm not really expecting anything to happen witht hat idea either...
