It's all still to come for me I'm afraid. Sometimes being 16 still is quite annoying.. But then again I'm 17 soon and eligible to drive as well, so I'll be able to post stories as all you lot do :)

I saw a couple of middle agers outside one of those over-28 clubs doing the mambo up against a car. Thing is, they were going harder than anyone I've ever seen my own age! Felt like I walked onto the set of Star Whores.

If that's any consolation, you don't seem that young from your posts! :P

I'm also told that I look a older than I am, so I wouldn't be recognisable as a 16 year old lad :)

Glad I seem older from my posts though, wouldn't like to be considered as a kid out of his depth by the circle of friends I have attempted to acquire :o Plus you and your cronies have pretty interesting posts, so I like posting along with you's :P

I couldn't begin to tell you my tales of being 16/17 and, in any case, you've your own to enjoy. But make it a magic time my friend and try to take the thrills, enthusiasm and excitement of those years with you through the rest of of your life.

I've quoted the great Bill Shankly's words to me before. "Every day you've got life and breath son, you've got a holiday," he said, and I've never forgotten. Whatever matters to you - go for it - chase your dreams with a smile.

And if you fall flat on your face occasionally - accept the setbacks as experience, and try again.

It's the same with a girl. If she lights your fire, no matter how unattainable she might seem, never let her disappear into the mist of your life without offering to see her safely home.

Then ................................................................................ for God sake make her laugh!.

Absolutely tiptop advice.

Do what you enjoy, make time for your family and have children once you've been a young man and done young man things.

And, as the great Gedge once wrote, 'no matter how it ends, you should always keep in touch with your friends'. :D
