lookwhaticando Posted 7 October 2006 Posted 7 October 2006 Don't know what you are talking about ... Look at the important info, instead!!! The important information is that half those footballers/teams have crap tase in soft drinks. Actually, I suppose those footballers who pick Pepsi are just stupid... maybe they worry that liking 'coke' will get them banned.

They don't drink that rubbish, they just get loads of money for making us think they do Apparently, it's working just as they hoped for...

They don't drink that rubbish, they just get loads of money for making us think they do Apparently, it's working just as they hoped for... I don't buy something just 'cos the players 'do'. All it does is usually make me respect the player less. As if I needed another reason to hate Edgar Davids.
Thracian Posted 7 October 2006 Posted 7 October 2006 I think it's fair to say that Cisono is now established as FoxesTalk expert on saunas.
cisono Posted 7 October 2006 Posted 7 October 2006 I don't buy something just 'cos the players 'do'. All it does is usually make me respect the player less. Hmm not too sure about that one!!! Perhaps you respect more the ones supporting coke? And what about Becks? He advertises both?
lookwhaticando Posted 8 October 2006 Posted 8 October 2006 Hmm not too sure about that one!!! Perhaps you respect more the ones supporting coke? And what about Becks? He advertises both? I don't respect all footballers because they drink what I drink (supposedly) or buy get given what I buy. And then there's almost nobody who would earn any extra respect under the same conditions either... 'cept perhaps Joe Mattock, Scott Lycett, Gareth McAuley... And on top of all that, some of those clubs and footballers (and celebs) I can't stand, even if they do drink coke. Chelsea, Leeds, Christina Aguilera all come to mind. :pinch:
lcfc_jme Posted 8 October 2006 Posted 8 October 2006 Coca Cola support soccer in th UK, Pepsi do not! And it also makes womens bones weaker, giving them an increased chance of osteoporosis later in life (useless fact of the day, not sure why I posted it but it's a new bit of general knowledge)
Suffolk_fox Posted 8 October 2006 Posted 8 October 2006 Excellent hangover cure. I used to have an 'emergency coke' by my bed in my younger days for that 'wake up at 6am with a mouth like Ghandi's flipflop' feeling

I used to have an 'emergency coke' by my bed in my younger days for that 'wake up at 6am with a mouth like Ghandi's flipflop' feeling My hangover cure is 4 hours sleep maximum, a walk to the shop and a nice Frijj Milskshake. Works a treat; no headache, sickness, tiredness or any other symptoms
Nationwider Posted 8 October 2006 Posted 8 October 2006 Coke for me - Pepsi's rubbish. Quite enjoying Coke Zero at the moment, as part of a calorie-controlled diet. Slips down well with my morning choc-covered flapjack.
