MC Prussian Posted 25 September 2006 Posted 25 September 2006 I read the book and watched the movie a few years later. Bloody hell, Christian Bale did a very good job there! Of course, the film will never come close to the gory written details in Ellis' book. A recommended read and if you can, get the movie, as well.

Cracking book cracking film. If you enjoyed this book read one of his other books, Glamorama it's a bit arty farty but very good.
Daggers Posted 25 September 2006 Posted 25 September 2006 I thought AP was a stunningly well written book, very disturbing, which the film failed to do justice to. Less Than Zero, on the other hand, was a steaming pile of excrement and I have not touched another of his tomes since.
