ithuriel Posted 29 September 2006 Share Posted 29 September 2006 whatever happened to fox leisure ? i know we moved onto le coq sportif and then to jjb but whatever happened to our own branded merchandise? ive heard poeple on here mention that the concession stands selling pies , burgers etc., are licensed out . is this true? how much cash do the club get from these stands? things ive been curious about for some time now. SystonFox Posted 29 September 2006 Share Posted 29 September 2006 i think the concession stands inside the stadium give a small percentage of earnings to LCFC the rest goes to whichever company it is providing the cardboard burgers and stale pies. Lindlay Catering has the contract & pay a fee to the club for this, the amount of pies sold does not affect the club in the short term, as the fee is not sales dependent. However when the contract comes up for renewal, Lindlays may claim it's worth less due to poor sales, although we would expect the club to counter that with "If the service was better organised & those serving could be certain to understand the terms 'coffee' 'tea' 'beer' and 'pie' at every home match it would boost sales" !
