Steven Posted 9 December 2004 Posted 9 December 2004 Stuart Taylor, one of my protégés, is doing well on loan at Leicester City and trying to rebuild a promising career after a succession of injuries. When he won a championship medal in 2002, as understudy to Seaman and Richard Wright, he was terrific. It is unlikely that he would have made such basic errors of technique that have so far given Almunia a look of such vulnerability. Arsène and I have long differed about Taylor’s potential. I don’t think we’ll ever know who was right or wrong because it’s unlikely he’ll get a real chance at Highbury. If Wenger doesn't fancy him (IANGWCM) then bring him to City. :w00t: :w00t:
Scow Posted 9 December 2004 Posted 9 December 2004 I think Arsenal's priority in Januray will be to bring in a new keeper, so I imagine we'll have a good chance of getting him anyway - That's if Levein wants him of course....
Mark Posted 9 December 2004 Posted 9 December 2004 We should definately bring him in. I think he's better than Walker so far, and better for the long term.
Guest Daniel Posted 9 December 2004 Posted 9 December 2004 Im a big fan of him, he's been fantastic so far and could play a huge part in our push for promotion.

He needs to set his stall out and get shouting!!

That's something Pressman hasn't offered.
Anish Posted 9 December 2004 Posted 9 December 2004 He has been superb for us, I really wish he comes here permanently. And I also value the opinion of Bob Wilson, he is a legend in my eyes. Wilson was a top class keeper in his day and has worked with great keepers so he should know a thing or two about goalkeeping ability and potential.
Muz Posted 9 December 2004 Posted 9 December 2004 Pressman is piss poor at catching the ball. Taylor does not look like he puts much effort in to games but he is a very good keeper. I dont think we will have a problem gettin him in permanent
