lookwhaticando Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 That wasn't supposed to be a joke But it was definately funny. You must be proud - you're funny without even trying.
Smudge Posted 3 October 2006 Posted 3 October 2006 I have an American keyboard on my laptop (with an 'English' hard drive) I have searched high and low for the 'hash' key but its no where to be found. It has the hash above the 3 key but it comes out as '£' when pressed with the shift key. It must be there somewhere but I can find it.Any ideas where I should be looking Large amounts of thanks I know that you have found '#" but you can also access the 'Character Map". In Windows XP it can be found by clicking on the following: - Start, Programs, Accessories,System Tools, Character Map. Just pick the font, select and copy, then just paste into your document. If you copy the icon to your desktop it saves all that clicking. I frequently use it for £ ¾ © ¼ and others that are not on the keyboard.
