The People's Hero Posted 2 October 2006 Author Posted 2 October 2006 You and me are going to my best mates house in Towcester one day. His dad makes a killer cuppa. This reminds me a bit of when my mate asked me to make him a strong cup of coffee. We were both up one night writing essays, which we tended to be doing at around 4am on the morning/night whatever before the deadline. I decided to make his with about 65/70% granules and then the rest boiling water/sugar. He drank it all... then he just basically started talking sh it before falling asleep about 10 minutes later. It was extremely difficult to wake him up. Granted, he was VERY tired before having the coffee, but I reckon it did conk him out.
lookwhaticando Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 I have lots of cups of tea in a day... have I become too anglicised? You make it sound like a bad thing. <_<

On someone else, naturally.

The People's Hero Posted 2 October 2006 Author Posted 2 October 2006    I've gotta try that one day. On someone else, naturally. He was fairly game. To be honest, he'd done all sorts drug wise. He was doing something with nutmeg at one point??

The People's Hero Posted 2 October 2006 Author Posted 2 October 2006 I'm not sure what he was doing with it or if he was just talking about doing it or what... to be fair, I didn't get involved!
cisono Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 He was doing something with nutmeg at one point?? I'd hate to think what he may have been doing with it
lookwhaticando Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 I'm not sure what he was doing with it or if he was just talking about doing it or what... to be fair, I didn't get involved! I'm drug-illiterate to be honest. I couldn't tell you the difference between heroin, crack cocaine, LSD etc etc. I don't know what they look like, I don't know what class they're in... I'm like Manuel from Fawlty Towers... "I know nothing"
Monk Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 The only quality breaks I get to myself these days are the 8 minutes I spend taking a dump at work in the morning, no refreshments are in order, but a game or 2 of midnight pool or fred flintstone bowling on my phone eases the stress.... then back to the horrible horrible world of financial markets.... THough afterwards I do often get the teas in. Today was a Pret Latte and a Kinder Bueno. Sublime.

Can't get Alternative Risk Transfer out of my head now. I must have learnt something this evening then...

More importantly.. how long before I bail out and go travelling...

The People's Hero Posted 2 October 2006 Author Posted 2 October 2006 Much as none of you care about my studies I feel like typing about them anyway - therapeutic... I have two huge ACII modules to do for exams on October 18th/20th. I'm mad I haven't been studying them and have left myself the two entire courses to do in this time, whilst also working full time. What an idiot. Still... I've made some decent progress tonight. Everytime I see this thread.. I'll know I should be studying, not surfing the net!
