Hes trying to get a ticket but I have a Golden ticket (ST) I keep on saying......that means I can go bubt you cant etc.. OK he has been saying what was the score last time we played? 5-0! so I need to give him a history lesson.... From 1990 onwards can i anyone tell me the scores home and away..... didnt we go 14 games unbeaten? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unless we lost to them in the cup at some point, I'd say we didn't lose to Villa from about 1987 (maybe even earlier) - 2000 possibly 2001. Most memorable result I can remember, they were 4-1 up against us in 1994 with about 15-10 minutes left and we pulled it back to 4-4. This is pointless as he will just point out that this is ancient history (which it is) and that we haven't beaten them for about 6 years (which is true) and that they will give us another beating in the cup (which they will) Best approach for you would be to shut your trap, take the abuse and laugh it off, admit we're shit and hope we somehow manage to beat them. Then do your talking. If we lose at least you haven't talked your team up and will come in for less of a ribbing. However this approach is probably a bit to diplomatic and intelligent for you, so yeah it was 14 years if not longer.
