Chrysalis Posted 13 October 2006 Posted 13 October 2006 well my thoughts are this. You pretty much demanding a seat on the board in return for backing the sale of the club, so this leads me to think you thinking of yourselves again. On ticket prices as someone else has already pointed out the matchday prices arent a big difference to what they are now but here is what you need to think about. 1 - What was pompys prices when they were in this division? 2 - Are we filling our ground? 3 - Do we have a larger capacity? Generally larger grounds have lower priced tickets, you can watch real madrid or barcelona for just over a tenner its about economy of scale. Pompy have a small ground so they have to charge more to maximise revenue, they also have demand outstripping supply. We currently have a half empty stadium and mandaric knows what he is doing if anything he may decrease matchday tickets in his first season here. However if he was to raise them but in return spent in the team and got a quality manager in fans would probably feel fine buying the tickets. If he got us promoted and suddenly everything cost 25% more then so be it. What I do expect is either no change or a small increase whilst we in this division then after promotion prices will be hiked as he will be looking to start getting a return on his investment but he wont do this until we promoted and the stadium is been filled.
