Daggers Posted 10 October 2006 Posted 10 October 2006 Bought a WinTV USB from Ebuyer...it was shit. Wouldn't tune in channels properly, missed a load off that couldn't be added. Plus, a big problem with sound. Ebuyer refunded my money, I liked them - hated WinTV USB!
City Fan Posted 10 October 2006 Posted 10 October 2006 I bought a Hauppage Win TV something or other which is TV on your computer, as well as freeview, and you can record programmes as well. Was a piece of piss to install, just shove the card in and bingo. Not sure how it will be on a laptop, but mine is top quality.

Nope, I connected via house ariel and Telewest cable, it may be worth checking out the website of any make you intend to buy to clarify if your computer spec is supported. Mine was brand spanking new, but some conflict existed somewhere.
