Guest Daniel Posted 11 December 2004 Posted 11 December 2004 All the wigan dead heads? The one on here is enough.
spirefox Posted 11 December 2004 Posted 11 December 2004 Is there anybody in Wigan who isn't a deadhead?

I'd love to be optomistic, and for the past few years since MON left I have been optomistic, and in denial myself, We havn't won consistantly for 2 years now, and to be honest i'm sick and tired of it, we carry on like this and we will stay where we currently are....A mid-table division 1/championship team. Maybe this is a gut reaction to todays result, maybe this is me being a 'depressed little Leicester fan', but i really am sick of lieing about Leicester...We lost and I can't see a way forward for Leicester...end of story!! I've said it for the past 3 years but not many things have done it yet but...PROVE ME WRONG CITY!

Wellman Posted 11 December 2004 Posted 11 December 2004 Ipswich are going to win the league anyway Wigan Boy

Before today we'd won two on the bounce and everyone was looking forward to closing the gap on Sheff U. One defeat and it's all downhill. As it said on Radio Leicester it's two steps forward and one back and we might have to accept that it'll be like that for a while. We have to try and concentrate on the fact that we made two steps forward rather then the fact we've taken one back. Use today as a learing curve and take on board and learn from the mistakes made.
Wellman Posted 11 December 2004 Posted 11 December 2004 Agree there SouthernBoy 45962[/snapback] Cheers Muz, hopefully will fall away

Lets hope Levein brings in a striker to play with Connolly else its going to be like this for the rest of the season
Jonbluefox9 Posted 11 December 2004 Posted 11 December 2004 can you see the current strikeforce scoring the chances we create? Lets hope Levein brings in a striker to play with Connolly But Connolly is part of the current strikeforce and has scored less than Scowy so thearetically Craig should be looking for someone to come in and play alongside Scowy.

We are better off without him, but obviously until we play without him no one is going to see that. If we want to move forward, we have to remove this man, he is static, and waits for balls to drop on his head, but he cant even head well, and the direction of the headers are questionable when he does. At the end of the game, with our strikeforce consisting of James Scowcroft, Nathan Blake and Dion Dublin, i was embarrassed and disgusted. We have such a horrible team.
Jonbluefox9 Posted 12 December 2004 Posted 12 December 2004 i was embarrassed and disgusted. We have such a horrible team. If you want to watch a pretty team go and support Arsenal. It's been many years since we've played attractive football. We were never a pretty team under O'Neill just an affective one. Scowcroft has no movement and his heading is overated. We are better off without him, but obviously until we play without him no one is going to see that. If we want to move forward, we have to remove this man, he is static, and waits for balls to drop on his head, but he cant even head well, and the direction of the headers are questionable when he does. A striker's job is to score goals. Connolly has scored two and has started all but two games at a guess. Scowy's scored four and played the majority of the games out wide under Adams. It's alright saying bring in a new striker but we have no money to spend. We have to get rid before we can buy. Connolly, in my eyes is a very arrogant over rated player. We missed his movement to the flanks today but that's not his job. His job is getting the ball in the net and his ratio is poor. Scowy's a grafty who I think holds a lot of feelings for the club and the fans and he'll always put 100% in for the team. Connolly ignores the fans, is happy aslong he gets his wages and lacks any kind of physical prescence. His runs are usually aimless, unlike Dickov, and his shots usually are off target. He cost us £500K and he's not done anything to pay it back. He scored at QPR and then lost his head and got sent off. Pure petulance. If Levein continues to play him then I'll back him because he's wearing my team's shirt but I will do the same for Scowy but with more respect for the man himself.
