Brummie-FOX Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 Does anybody else think that Rob Kelly has changed everything around at Leicester? Well maybe not everything but; Under managers like Craig Levein, Micky Adams etc, we couldn't keep a 1 goal lead and would concede in the 94th minute. A Prime example today, when Leicester were pegged back two times, We didn't start to concede more goals, we actually went on to score the next, and in today's case won the game. And reading a football magazine earlier, (Before todays game), we have around about the 5th best Disiplinary record in the league! Under Adams and Levein, we were always the 1st/2nd worst! Hope that makes sense

Joe. Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 Yes, discipline aside we haven't really changed. If anything, we've got worse since the Mickey Adams era. To be fair Kelly has had to inherit what Levein did to our club.

NFFC Chris Posted 15 October 2006 Posted 15 October 2006 I think your getting carried after win, your no better no worse than under Levein and Adams.Your just stuck in a lower mid-table rut in the championship.
syston_fox Posted 15 October 2006 Posted 15 October 2006 After yesterdays result the stats were as followed: Under Kelly Played: 26 Won: 10 Drawn: 8 Lost: 8 Goals for: 28 Goals against: 26 Ave points per game: 1.4 Stinks of mid table doesnt it? Does anyone know how this compares to the record under Levein and Adams?

Does anyone know how this compares to the record under Levein and Adams? I don't think anything will change until RK realises it needs changing - and I honestly don't think he seems to right now. Indeed he will look at that record achieved with no money and with demonstrably limited footballers as being encouraging, even commendable. So would I if there was any signs of an exciting football team emerging anytime soon but I don't think we've moved very much at all in that direction. Hard to beat is the best complimen I can pay. And while that will be music to RK I think anyone can be dificult to beat if they are properly organised. I like the idea of being "hard to contain" better. And that will only come when we created three/four times the chances we're creating just now.
