Bert Posted 18 October 2006 Share Posted 18 October 2006 I don't have this, but have just been on the website, and there's a bit that says details about Gareth Williams injury, so if anyone could go on and let us all know, that'd be lovely! Thanks.
Solihullfox Posted 18 October 2006 Share Posted 18 October 2006 If, as it looks from the photo, it's from Kelly's comments last night then it's just him saying he got a knock on the ankle which has been giving problems....if it's more up to date than that, someone get posting. lookwhaticando Posted 18 October 2006 Share Posted 18 October 2006 James Wesolowski got 'a knock' earlier yesterday - hence his non-appearance in the 16. He was planning to start Weso until his hamstring went a bit funny. Gareth Williams has a knock to the ankle. That's all that's been said - nothing more than we knew already. Not broken as suggested by Barber last night then What a journo that man is
lildave3 Posted 18 October 2006 Share Posted 18 October 2006 Hope Williams is back in time for Saturday, and Weso for that matter. Hughes still didn't convince me last night.
lookwhaticando Posted 18 October 2006 Share Posted 18 October 2006 Not broken as suggested by Barber last night then What a journo that man is He was seen on crutches at the end of the match. That'd have to be the world's fastest ankle casting job ever - if he broke his ankle and had it put in a cast and was able to walk around on it all within the space of an hour. The suggestion is that he's just knocked it slightly - it's the ankle that kept him out for a few weeks already, so chances are it's a recurrance of the previous knock. Bit of swelling, a little pain, but nothing that'll keep him out more than a few weeks (no 2 month layoff, for example, as if it were broken). Fingers crossed. Hope Williams is back in time for Saturday, and Weso for that matter. Hughes still didn't convince me last night. I don't like it when Williams is injured, it limits us in the middle - and let's face it, there's not many attractive options in the middle at this time. We need Williams to stay fit. On the other hand, Andy Johnson could do with breaking his leg.
